Arwen Novak (6th class) PRIZE winning image of St Bridget
As part of our Brigid 1500 festival primary school children were invited to interpret, through art, a modern-day Brigid and what she would now represent today. The students could use any form of visual art to depict their interpretation of what Brigid means to them.
We are so very proud to announce that Arwen Novak (6th class) won 2nd prize overall.
An amazing achievement and an equally amazing painting.
A very bright colourful future lies ahead for Arwen
Well done
Arwen's artwork is on display at the Brigid 1500 Art Exhibition in the former Houstons building at no 4-5 Clanbrassil St, commencing on 26th January, and running until 5th February.
